Coming clean on my obsession with Tam's blog and a beautiful weekend.

I have developed a habit, when I can't sleep I come to my blog and visit all the blogs in my blog roll. If I am still not ready to hit the hay, I go to my friend Tam's blog, and visit all the blogs on her blog roll. Tam has links to some really inspiring blogs. Then if I still can't sleep, I do laundry. There is always laundry to do.

We had a beautiful weekend and Dan got a few pic's of the buck that has been hanging around our back field. This one is my favorite.

I don't know if I have mentioned it but a while back Dan and I found an old dinning table and 6 chairs at a sale and bought them. My dad has been restoring them and today my parents brought it up to our house. I am so excited, it is so beautiful. Thanks Dad!
I'll get pictures, and post them soon.
My scrapping time is still limited and I am running really low on mojo, but I have started a layout, and hope to finish it this week.
Thanks for stopping by.

November, already?

Seriously where is the time going?

Dan and I have been married for 13 years. I doesn't seem like that is possible, especially since

we are so young. lol Dan and I have actually been together for 18 years, we dated for 5 years

before we took the plunge. Happy Anniversary D!

Halloween was a blast.

I have to give a huge shout out to my SIL Nikki, who had surgery the day before and still

managed to take the kids trick or treating with us.

This on is going to be my MIL's Christmas card. LOL. Dan (old man) and Kevin (70's cop).

I just threw this one in because I really like it. Kevin, Nikki and Bubba.

The kiddo's, Alyssa, Rebecca, Aleah, Trent, Bree, Rylee, and Syd.

My friend Angi posted her goals for November, and asked what everyone else's goals for
November are.

Here are some of mine.

-Clean and disinfect the house. (last week Rebecca was sicker than she has ever been in her life. So I have been wiping everything down with Lysol but I need to keep it up. Some schools close to dd's have been closed due to the flu.)

-Try and save money.

-Finish making all the homemade gifts that I am making.

-Finish Christmas cards.

-Be positive.
-Stop watching, reading and obsessing over the news, and get more sleep.

-Spend more time relaxing at home, instead of stressing at home.
-Remember all the blessings in my life and that I have so much to be thankful for.
Thanks for stopping by.

Better late than never.

Here is a layout I did for Creative Cookbooking. The assignment was to scrap your go to meal. Mine is Spaghetti Carbonara. I love it and could probably eat it everyday. I used yarn for the title, it took forever and the a looks horrible. Unfortunately this will be my last layout for Creative Cookbooking. I resigned from the DT. I have a lot of things going on right now that need my time and energy.

Here are the other layouts that I have finished this month.

Relax

This one I created for a challenge and didn't have the time to upload it before the deadline. I really like how it turned out though.

Beauty

I love this picture of my niece.

Thanks for stopping by.

Bad blogger...

Sorry, I've been such a bad blogger lately.

Here is what I've been up to.
I've been working on a few layouts. Here is a sneak peak of one that I did for an upcoming challenge at Creative Cookbooking.

Speaking of Creative Cookbooking, our first contest is going to be posted later today, it is awesome and so is the prize. You are going to want to check that out.

AND

Don't forget to stop by Creative Scrappers and get signed up for the 1 hour layout challenge. The challenge is Tuesday Oct. 20th at 9p.m. EST. You will not want to miss this fun challenge we are being sponsored by PINK PAISLEE!!!!!!

Operation fix up, is well underway we have a much needed new and might I add, beautiful door.

We opted for a bigger door than we had.

Please ignore the mess.
The glass in the door is bubbly, which is one of the main reasons I chose this door. I love bubbly glass.

Bree, and I chopped down some of our corn stalks and picked the pumpkins that had already turned orange and did a little fall decorating. We did a little Halloween decorating too, but I haven't gotten pic's yet.

Have a wonderful day!

Lots to blog about.

I have been busy, I have gotten a few projects done and wanted to share them with you.

If you follow my blog you know that I am now part of the Creative Cookbooking DT. I am so excited about it! It is going to be so much fun, but if you have been following my blog you also know that I am not that great a cook. So I am going to let you in on a little secret. I have been learning to cook. I have learned so much from my sister in-law Nikki, that I am spending lots of time in the kitchen and loving it. So to thank her and also as a little birthday gift. " Happy Birthday Nikki!" I created this mini for her. I took a picture of the old wall paper in her kitchen and printed it out on cardstock to use as printed paper. The polka dot papers are from scrappin' sports and more, I love this paper.

Speaking of birthdays 2 of my brothers 4 daughters celebrated birthdays last week and here are the cards I made for them. "Happy Birthday Taylor and Lexis!"

To celebrate that fall is here. I slipped into some wool socks and created these 2 layouts.

I Love You

I took this picture of dead milkweed while on a walk one day, because it looked like a heart to me. I dowsed the corrugated cardboard with oriental poppy glimmer mist, then inked it.

Little Pumpkin

When I was moving my scrappin' space from the living room to the bedroom I came across this picture of Alyssa in her first Halloween costume, and had to use it on a layout.
And last but not least.

My friend Tam has given me an awesome blog award. Thanks Tam, you rock!
