Snow day!!

I am the kind of parent that hopes for a snow day as much as the kids do. Even though this morning was a little disapointing, it's been snowing and blowing since Sunday night and even though our road is almost completely drifted over, the girl had school today. But yesterday we had all morning to play.

Rebecca and I went for a walk to find sticks for our snowmans arms. She isisted on shaking every branch. We found a buch of branches that were broke by the weight of the snow, and used two of them.

Here is our snow woman, poor thing has a face only a snow mother could love.

Even the embelishments didn't help. How do we know our snow man is
acutally a snow women? Rebecca is holding her baby, and she
is pulling a sled of baby snow balls. That is what the rope
hanging over her branch...um.. arm is.

After playing in the snow for a few hours we came in for lunch,
chicken noodle soup, turkey sandwiches, cheese its and
hot coa coa.
After luch we were entertained by Brianna's
amazing lion taming skills.
I know most mothers would frown on letting
their children tame lions, but this lion was
pretty tame alread, don't let his roar fool ya.

Believe it or not that feather thing around cookie is a tutu that Brianna wore
in one of her dance recitals a few years ago.
Have a great day
and
seriously stop by Creative Scrappers
for Sketchfest 2 going on now until
next Sunday.

Did I tell you how much I love your background.. I so want it. I just love the antiquish and simpleness of it. {me=never satisified}

Hunter would be soooo envious if he saw the pics of the girls in the snow.. we got a dusting only and he is sooo disappointed. Looks like it was a great day for you and the girls.. I love the snowbaby hehee.

Lion tamer? WOW.. what a beautiful lion and what a good one to be so nice as to have a tutu around em' hahaa. ;)
