Spring Break!

A couple of weeks ago, when the weather was nice, I began planning all these little outings that we would do during spring break. I have to work every day, and Dan has to work 3 days while the girls are on spring break. So that doesn't give us a lot of time to do much. I had a photo shoot planned for today, the first day of the girls spring break. There is this beautiful spot if you travel south from our house into North Branch on the back roads, that would be a great spot for a photo shoot. I really wanted some nice spring pictures of the girls. And we had a trip to the library planned, ( I know, we are such nerds) we don't really have a lot of time during the day to do a lot, because I have to leave for work at 2:00 in the afternoon. Dan and the girls were going to get the canoes ready and do a little canoeing on his days off.









BUT









our plans have drastically changed.




Rebecca and Brianna are going to spend spring break building the biggest snowman in the world.

Brianna had wanted to make the biggest pancake in the world for breakfast this morning, but I didn't have any pans big enough.

Alyssa's plans are to finish New Moon.

My plans are to scrap. I have a couple of layouts that I haven't posted here yet.

Out of My Mind

I used lots of paint on this, i used a little gray paint on the picture to give the edges a distressed look. I use black paint on bubble wrap so the background wouldn't be so plain and I splattered white pain all over. Alyssa was my inspiration for the splatter, we went into RUE 21 the other day and Alyssa really liked all the paint splatter looking cloths.
