They built a fort in the dinning room.
I had all day Friday and Saturday to scrap but didn't have the mojo. Sunday Sketch 17 was posted at Creative Scrappers. I love the sketch it's by Allison Cope who is an awesome sketch designer. I would have loved to scrap all day Sunday, but the girls kept me busy and I was still running low on the ol' mojo, but after Dan left for work I couldn't sleep, our sump pump was running almost non stop, so I was worried about water in the basement. Then Dan called to tell me the end of our road was flooded. (I'm sure its nothing compared to what so many others are going threw). Ugh! I am a worrier by nature, not as much as I use to be but once I get started I can't turn my brain off and sleep. So I scrapped and that honestly calmed me and when I was finished I had no problem falling asleep. I even dreamed about scrapbooking (not the first time) LOL.
Here is what I created last night.
There was a welcome fall challenge on the KI Memories blog the other day when I was blogging. So I decided to give it a go. I created this little wall hanging. Using KI Lace Cardstock, and Bazzill Cardstock. I sprayed Oriental Poppy Glimmer mist on the Bazzill cardstock. I distressed the edges with charcoal and brown Clearsnap ink, and also used the ink on the Martha leaves.
I also created this layout, based on Creative Scrappers Sketch 17 by Allison Cope.
I used the Oriental Poppy Glimmer mist on the back ground pp, but didn't quite get the effect I was going for. I still like it though. I used MME and Pebbles Inc. papers and Bazzill CS. AC rub ons. Wrights, rik rak and clear snap ink.
Journaling: We planted a dozen sunflowers and this is the only one that grew.
Thanks for stopping by.
