Sometimes it's just paper and glue.

The pictures are taken, the supplies written down so I remember what company gets credit for what project. I've worked all day at scrapping and really feel/felt like I accomplished a lot.

Boy I'm a going to wow you all with my awesome creations the Christmas cards are so cute and how clever I am with the journaling on one of the layouts. You are all going to just love them.

And then

I get a call and in front of me is just a pile of paper and glue. All of the sudden the cards and layouts aren't so important.

My cousin Sarah's husband was killed in a motorcycle accident. They had been married barley a year. No kids yet, they are in there early 20's.

I can't imagine what she is going threw.
=========================================================

I'm not saying that I am giving up scrapbooking, but maybe my perspective has changed a little, and I will get the things I made posted at some point in time.

My deepest sympathy to Sarah and the rest of your family. I pray everyone will take all the time needed to adjust to a new reality without Sarah's husband in it. Hugs to you all!

Oh my goodness, Angie - I feel so badly right now. Something like this sure does bring things into perspective, doesn't it? I'll be thinking of all of you in the coming days - hugs to you all.
