My word for 2009.

I am a huge fan of Ali Edwards. I love her concept behind one little word for the new year. Here is how Ali explained it on her blog.

The idea behind the one little word concept is to give yourself something to focus on throughout the year. As I stated in my newsletter back in January 2007, "A single word can be a powerful thing. It can be the ripple in the pond that changes everything. It can sharp and biting or rich and soft and slow."

I have been thinking about my word for the past few days and have finally decided on the word:

I've always had a firm faith in God, but in 2008, my faith in myself, in the future, and in just about every other aspect of life has grown thin. So 2009 will be the year I restore my faith.

If you are doing this too, I would love to know what your word is, just leave me a comment and link me to your post.

Have a wonderful New Year.

Happy New Year chick!
I didnt write a blog about it.. altho maybe I will.
My word is "kind"... I want to be a kinder person.. I want to initiate kindness in other people.

I wish you the best in 2009 and think "faith" is an awesome word!

I love your word choice! I've been thinking about this myself, and I have it narrowed down to a few. I like Gina's word too. Happy New Year to you and your family!
