We did have a wonderful weekend. Friday night was spent with the softball team as usual. It's nice to get out and talk to the other mom's, I really enjoy it and it's nice to see Alyssa and Dan in their element. Even though Dan isn't coaching this team, he is still very active and helps out at practice.
Saturday we were up bright and early, to go spend the day with Kevin and Nikki and the girls, for Aleah's Birthday. And even though I called Nikki at least a dozen times Thursday and Friday about Aleah's gift, I still managed to mess up.
We couldn't have asked for better weather. It was perfect football weather.
It's hard to see in the picture, but Alyssa's fingernails are the same color as the ball.
It was so great to see everyone and spend the day together like we use to when Kevin and Nikki and the girls lived close.
This week I will be catching up on all my scrapbooking, so check back later in the week to see what create ;)

A good weekend like the one you had makes your heart feel better! Im so glad you got to spend quality time with family! Cant wait to see scrappy projects!
