November 1st 1996, that is the day Dan and I got Married.
So I took yesterday off work and got my mom to take the girls for the night. And Dan and I spent the day together. Just the 2 of us. I thought I had planned out a fun filled day, but it ended up being a little disappointing.

We went to the Mid-Michigan Renaissance Festival in Vassar not to be confused with the other, better Renaissance Festival in Holly.
These Gypsies were the best part of the whole Festival. We enjoyed watching them dance. Dan was the only man in the audience, so he got a lot of attention from one of the gypsies. It was so funny, she told him he could take her home with him.
Dan liked watching the fighting. These guys were really nice and talked to us for a while between their sward fighting and beating each other up.
This is my most favorite picture, the living statue. You will be seeing her on a layout soon.
After the Festival, we decided to go to Frankenmuth, one of my favorite places.
It was the first time I had driven over the covered bridge.
We wandered around and shopped a little. Yankee Candle was having a great sale.

Glad you two had a day to yourselves! I didn't realize you lived in MI...I'm near Kalamazoo. It's been a while since I've been to Frankenmuth, such a beautiful town. Happy Anniversary!
