Here are the layouts I finished last night.
Just Being Myself

Pocketful of Sunshine

For this one I was inspired by Natalie Roy to get my paint and stamps out. I love how it turned out and will be keeping my paint and stamps out to use more often.

Thanks for taking a peek.

A very Scrappy weekend.

This weekend I had no time to scrap, but I was totally inspired and in the scrapping zone. So I had to make time.

Friday: I made time to create a mini album for Taylor, Alyssa's BFF, who was staying with us.
We had to take her home Saturday, so I had to finish it. I worked on the mini between cleaning the house, and cooking. Kevin, Nikki and the girls were coming over for our last cookout together before they move. :( . I actually put the finishing touches on it sitting at he dining room table chatting with Nikki. Here is a little peek.

Saturday was crazy. I packed a few scrapping supplies in my bag while the girls were getting ready. We had to leave early in the morning to take Taylor home, and go shopping for Alyssa and Rebecca's bikes. Dan and the girls dropped me off at work in the afternoon, and that is where I scrapped these.

Today I also took some scrapping supplies to work and finished 3 layouts. I will try and get them posted tomorrow.

Thanks for stopping by.

Running in quicksand.

Do you ever feel like you are running in quicksand? Trying to move fast and getting nowhere. That is how I felt this morning. Brianna and I didn't get much sleep last night. Her ears were hurting her. So it was a slow moving morning, but we had a lot to do. We had to run to the post office in (Silverwood) to pick up a package. I wanted to be there by 8 a.m, then be over to Joe and Jesse's in (Fostoria) to help with their garage sale by 8:30. We didn't even get out the door until 9 a.m. I called the Dr.'s office in (North Branch) to get Brianna an appointment this morning and they wanted us to be there at 10:15 a.m. Surprisingly we made it to the Drs office on time.

Brianna was quite the little negotiator at the Drs office. (Brianna has an outer ear infection in both ears)

Brianna: Can I still swim?

Dr. Wendy: I don't think you should go swimming for the next 4 days.

Brianna: What if I plug my ears, with ear plugs.

Dr. Wendy: That is a good idea for the future, when you are swimming. It's to late now though, Ear plugs will probably hurt your ears, now with the ear infection.

Brianna: What if I don't jump in the pool, I could use the steps and go in nicely.

Dr. Wendy: I will make you a deal, you can go in the pool, if you do the doggy paddle and keep your head above the water. You can't jump or dive and your ears must stay above the water, no going under.

Brianna: Okay :)!

Here is picture of her in the pool this afternoon.

No jumping, no diving, no going under the water equals no fun. My poor little fish.

I love this one!

Just 'Cause
This layout is based on a sketch by Kristine Davidson. It's for a Challenge at Creative Scrappers, we had to use the words JUST 'CAUSE.
I bought a little quick pages pad at walmart with all this lime green and orange elements in it and I knew i just had to get. I couldn't wait to get it home and start cutting it all up. I added Bazzill and Kurio Chipboard and some Crate Paper rubons. The papers are Creative Imaginations, Kurio and a strip of blue Bazzill. I really love how this turned out.
=============================================
I'm a little bummed the mail man had a box to deliver to me today and I wasn't here. So I will be stalking the mailbox tomorrow, to see what kind of scrappy goodness I got.
=====================================
I got a call from Alyssa today, she wants to come home tomorrow. I was thinking, "yaay she missed me!" but I was wrong. We have a swimming pool, Taylor, Alyssa's BFF lives on a lake. Alyssa doesn't care about swimming in a lake, (Alyssa is fearless and will do anything to cause her parents to get gray hair, so swimming in a lake doesn't bother her, me on the other hand wants to see what I'm swimming with). There are swans with babys in the lake and apparently thier nest isn't to far from Taylors house and the swans have been keeping them from swimming. Alyssa didn't miss me at all, she missed the pool. LOL. Oh well I'm still happy she will be home tomorrow, even if it means a long car drive.
Have a great day.

Tuesday

Yesterday I was looking threw some of my older layouts and found a few I'd like to share.

BIRTHDAY TREES

I love this one about Brianna's Birthday Trees. For her 6th Birthday

all she wanted were apple trees. My parents bought her 2 and she was so excited.

She took really good care of them.

DELIGHT
I love this one of Brianna, I did this one for a OLW challenge

I Believe

I really love how this one of Dan and the girls turned out. This is one of those layouts,

that I just couldn't stop adding to.

Yesterday we went on a little shopping trip and found these cute Pj's for Brianna. They match one of her Littlest Pet Shops.

You may have noticed I stared tagging my posts. So far I only have used three tags, Family fun, cards and layouts. I may add more as they come up, but my blog is pretty much family fun, cards, and layouts.

Have a wonderful Tuesday.
